In my opinion the circle is not round. Every begining has an end.I strongly think that we will successed to build multiethnic society and tolerance in our country.
Our main idea was to make a perfect web site where will be put all rights for all ethnic nations in our country, which will be base for building the multiethnic society. Also, site forum will be place where all ethnic comunities can fell free to say their opinion. We must be sure that no one ethnic comunities in Macedonia will have privilegies. All nations must be equal in front of law, the country and in front of God.

My name is Elena .I'm Christian and I often go to the church. I celebrate all Christian holidays .But my neighbor is a Roma and my best friend from the camp is Albanian. They are Muslims and they go to mosque. I appreciate their religion and they appreciate mine so nothing make obstacles to us to be together, to make fun, to study and to spend the time together .we really make effort to be example for those who have different opinion. I know that we all are the same on the earth ,we all live on it ,belong to the same community called the world yesterday, today and in the future .Our relations aren't changed by the color of our skin ,the race or religion ,the language we speak ,tradition and customs and we like to build real coexistence and to show to the others that a life is really better without any prejudice and stereotypes.
For some these opinions and understandings are farce which starts from the events which happened in 2001 in the west part of Macedonia because of some political problems for which the politicians say became as a result of economical situation and poverty in Macedonia, territorial division or ethnic tension in the country .There were big problems and confrontations among ethnic groups which brought the most tragic situation called fight with arms.
Perhaps late but politicians and citizens understood they were wrong, they made a sea from a loop and they made effort and they still try to overpass this problem .The frame agreement which provide us peace, security I our country and respect of human rights was also signed .We went down this road, the road towards friendship and improving of politic, culture and socio-economical life in our country. In that way we'll be united ,and neither me nor my friends and ethnic communities will be afraid of what's going to be with our friendship as a result of the discord between others inhabitants in the country and in the whole world .We are aware of the consequences ,which may be caused and we should faced it, and because of this we won't let them to happen .They will be prevented before they happen .The project we make today is for taking attention of all young people to build real multi-ethnical coexistence .that's me .I and my team are opened for everyone and everywhere ,and we hope that we will open the doors of Diplomacy. Let's tell slowly, safely and confidently the words:
"We are stronger together"
Now we are in same frequency.

Ivana Antovska - Contact person |

"I SEE THE WORLD ONLY AS A FIELD OF CULTURE AND INTERCHANGE AMONG THE PEOPLE" are words said more than a century ago by the great Macedonian revolutionary and ideologist, Goce Delcev . He communicates to us his view about the people in the world and their life together. Simply said, the idea of the world as a global villages nothing new, but almost a century long aspiration. Although this idea was an aspiration a century ago, today it shouldn't only be thought about but it should be implemented in our every day life. Our country as an example of a multi-ethnic country should also be an example of respect and good attitude among the nations. Let's show our true attitude and opinion to prove we aren't Balkan barbarians, but people with high culture and long tradition. We will come to this if above all we the young people don't let us be seduced by certain radical ideas of people that don't see the world as a unity, but as a divided whole that can be ruled over easily.
I, as a part of today's youth of Macedonia, feel that I can play a positive role in the interethnic life together, and I can see the people as individuals not as member of one or another ethnic group. And as much as it seems a cliché' the world remains in the hands of the young people. It's up to their education and upbringing the shaping of the future of our country. That's why we should be careful about our behavior to improve the world as our home or at least try and improve our grandparent's "heritage" and leave something better for generations to come.

Like in every country ,we used to have peace and tolerance in ours , between the nationalities ,too so the country could advance successfully on every field, than I personally think that with our project "We build between ethnical coexistence" the relation between the nationalities would get better with waking the conches of the older people and the youth ,too that we need to have coexistence with everybody ,to stop the prejudice and transmit reject front parents to children especially when we talk about Albanians.
In my opinion ,with our project everybody will be interested in it for bigger between ethnical introduction, to realize that in fact we are all the same , it doesn't matter in what nationality we belong , we are citizens of the same country and we all should fight for her , but that can be made if we are together , respecting each other with all differences in religion , culture , language and all characteristics which are falling us up part , foot that we found each other on the same place to live together and build between ethnical coexistence. Only in this form we can move to real way, to make better relationship with neighbor's countries, and to open the door to Europe unity. Always coming from that if we are together we will be stronger, we will succeed in our goal without different how would be difficult, we although will be succeed because we are together and like that nobody can make fight between us. And come everybody and together to start the way of peace and democracy to multiethnic coexistence.

Roze Stamenkovska - The coach |
Sent by Roze Stamenkovska on 16 March 2005 @ 23:00 |
My name is Roza Stamenkovska. I work as a Math and Computer Science teacher in our school.
A friend of mine, very dear to me, Zoya, told me about the competition. She is Macedonian, but lives and works in America . She is a School Connectivity Education Officer with Catholic Relief services in Baltimore MD , USA .
As soon as I found out, I told the students about the competition and we made our team Dragan, Ivana, Elena, Alexandra and myself.
We decided to work on a theme (subject) that is quite delicate. The Religious conflicts in these regions are the main reason for all the Balkans tragedies. The roots of the Balkans religious restlessness and hatred are primitive and they date back from very early times even in the mythology.
This is where hatred and fear exist. There are many people who are ready to kill and be killed.
The motive for this is the historical contexts which are conveyed from the past. The reasons for conflict are the competing interests of the forces which initiated the problem. Using a well-developed strategy established to burst the flames of the religious and national hatred for their own means.
In this way people are captured within the tradition and the inherited perspective models which are distinctive with confinement. Instead of mutual understanding, tolerance and collaboration, what is insisted upon, what we only see is the unchangeable picture of the world.
This represents an illusion of a static society creating a potential danger and a collision.
Politicians of all times and nations have attracted attention because of the extremely serious problems inside their country in a way that they found victims in every man and has every man has its own place on the planet.
Other nations, because of what many wars were caused in the endless history of armed conflicts.Cultural differences cannot disappear over night. But let's try and learn something more for the less known cultures, an attempt that will stop the nations close inside its own area and borders.
This country is my country, this is also your country, and this country is created for you and for me.
I just hope that our web-site will contribute to create cultural understanding, peace and tolerance among all nations and it will help all of us to better understand the different historical views of this region. |
